Judge Trapp has been reassigned to criminal cases due to her misconduct in custody cases. Here is the official notice.

Employees of the Court have documented the misconduct of Judge Trapp and Judge Howatt at the risk of losing their jobs.

It's good news that Judge Trapp will no longer handle family law cases but you have to wonder if she wouldn't do her job properly for family law cases why should we expect her to do a good job with criminal cases. A better solution would have been to fire her and take away her license to practice law.
