Here are a few audio clips of Mrs. Smith in some of her more pleasant moods.¹

Ms. Smith likes to tell people that she supports my relationship with Liam, yet what she tells me and Liam frequently does not match with supporting our relationship. In fact from the moment she got custody she switched from letting me care for him before and after school to not even being willing to let me walk the dog with him.

While still living in the same house, Cheri went outside the house to make a phone call and left Liam alone, so Liam came into my room and we watched his six flags video. My wife had ordered me not to let Liam into my room so I picked him up and removed him from my room as soon as I heard her come inside the house. We were both out of my room before she even got to the bottom of the stairs but she called the police anyway. Note that other than my wife being a control freak there was no reason at all for Liam not to come into my bedroom with me. In fact just two weeks later the court imposed a court order on her that allowed me to do so and gave me unsupervised visitation with him and prohibited her from interfering with Liam spending time with me.

He's fine - Note I did not "let him out again" as I never kept him in my room in the first place. The lock only prevents the doorknob from turning from the outside not inside, thus it could be used to lock Liam or my wife out of my room but never lock Liam into my room. The real problem for my wife wasn't that her husband forced their son to spend time with him but rather that Liam chose to spend a lot more time with me than she wanted and she was afraid that would hurt her case in court.
More of police call. - Note I did not lock the door and she never saw the bedroom door closed as she was outside before he came into my room and still downstairs when he left. She just asked us if he had been in my room and was pissed because she didn't have complete control over what we did when she wasn't looking.
"you can not be trusted to do an adult thing I will not let you have time alone with Liam" - Lets see I allow my son who loves me to come into my bedroom and entertain him by showing him the six flags video and as soon as I hear my wife come in the house I pick him up and run out of my room in hopes of not setting off another one of her fits of uncontrollable rage, and somehow she feels the need to punish Liam by not letting him have time alone with me (or more accurately punishing me and ignoring the fact that it also punishes him too). Also kind of makes me wonder who she thought would be watching Liam when she left the house if I didn't do it.

Any indication interested in his well being rather than control what I was doing - An excellent example of her projecting her bad behavior onto me -- certainly she was the one trying to exert control over me. Also note she is more interested in telling me off then paying attention to Liam.
Cheri and her attorney claim to kept following the court order that expired 2/18/2003 but here is how she explained the concept to me (in spite of the court order saying otherwise):
"At My Good Graces" - That pretty much sums up her views of how custody should be handled, everything done how she wants it, when she wants it, if she wants it [same way she ran our marriage]. A bad idea to start with but when what she wants can changes completely and frequently that just means forcing her unstable mood swings onto Liam and myself.
Your're not spending time with him tonight - The court order prohibited her from telling me that.
Forget about picking him up him off bus tomorrow - The court order allowed me to get him off the bus.

Misc recordings

I'm sure you will tape record this and play it for lots of people and I hope you do - First my wife encourages me to record her sarcastic comments and play them for others and now is threatening to have me put in jail if I do.
You are wrong and will find out just how wrong you are. - Explaining her views on going to court. I had thought that the courts would follow the laws and award custody to the better parent as determined by statute. I'll have to admit she was right and I was wrong, I haven't seen any attempt by the court to follow the laws in determining custody.
Bullshit - This is her attitude when trying to discuss something she disagrees with. Even factual issues that had she been a good mother she would have been aware of and I wouldn't have to point them out.
All My Fault - Another response that dosen't help us work together to take better care of Liam.
I'm On To You - Another response that dosen't help us work together to take better care of Liam.
I Took Your Router - Very ironic, she describes my use of a family car, as showing no respect for her personal property then steals computer equipment that I purchased after she claims we were separated.
Very Lousy Father - Another example of her projecting her behavior onto me. I am an excellent father, as determined both by Liam being fond of me and her own written statements that I am naturally a better parent than she is.
