Judge Millette once was quoted as saing: 'I want people to know that Virginia handles cases appropriately and that our defendants get fair trials, I want people to know that we do whatever we can to make sure it's a fair trial.' Unfortunately Leroy Millette seems to think that murders like Muhammad or Melvin Irving Shifflett deserve a fair trial and that his words don't apply to fathers.
January 18th 2005 Judge Millette applied the equivalent of the death penalty and denied me any visitation with my son without a fair trial. So much for his lofty public words, his private deeds are exactly the opposite. Dishonorable Judge Millette actually threatened me with jail for trying to present evidence that the claims my wife and her attorney made were false!! How is that a fair trial? What about my constitutional rights? What about my sons rights? What about state law that requires him to consider the evidence?

I complied with the court order, my son had a good time, even my wife's attorney stated that I adhered to "the letter of the exchange portion of the Pendente Lite Orde". So why and I being punish? Because my wife found the court order exchange inconvenient and refused to work out a more convenient exchange? More importantly why is my son Liam being punished?
Apparently Judge Millette cares neither for Civil Rights, the Constitution, nor the laws and feels that a father should be severely punished simply because the mother wants him to be punished. Apparently Judge Millette ranks fathers lower than murders, even serial murders as worthy of a fair trial and civil rights.
